Bennington Rescue Squad is lead by an 11-person volunteer Board of Directors. In addition to three membership representatives, there are members of our community who bring their experience and wisdom to our organization. We appreciate the time and effort each Director gives.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Brian was born, raised, and educated in Bennington and is the third generation president/owner of C.L. White Glass. Brian was a former EMT with Bennington Rescue, starting in January of 1990 and has answered over 1,000 calls. Brian held the rank of Captain (1993) and President (April 1994 to March 1996) in addition to serving a previous term on the Board of Directors from 1998 to 2002.
Brian Murphy, MBA, CPA

Brian is the Vice President for Finance and Administration (Chief Financial Officer) for Bennington College. Prior to coming to Bennington, Brian was the Chief Operating Officer for the Savannah College of Art and Design, worked for KPMG (one of the big 4 accounting firms), and spent some time working for a defense contractor. Brian graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Finance and Accounting, and has a Master’s in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Chicago, and is a certified CPA.

Larry Roberson, BS, CPA

Larry is a recent transplant to Bennington from the great state of Texas. He moved to Vermont to be closer to the capital region and his grandchildren. He calls himself ‘semi-retired’. In his short time here Larry has been involved in the community in many ways, that is where we ran across him. Larry is a veteran of the US Navy, and worked as the VP of Finance for a Cement Company, a Nursing Home Administrator, and as a County Auditor in state government. Larry graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Marie George, M.D.

Dr. George is the Infectious Disease specialist at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.
Stacey Hills, PhD, MBA

Dr. Hills comes to Bennington Rescue Squad as the Division Chair and Associate Professor for the McCormick Division of Business at Southern Vermont College. Dr. Hills graduated from Russell Sage College with a Bachelors in Economic and International Studies. She continued her education with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and PhD in Marketing from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Dr. Hills has taught at the University Level for over 15 years including RPI, The College of St. Rose, Utah State University, and currently at Southern Vermont College. Her areas of teaching are marketing, research & statistics, economics, and management. She has authored The Marketing Fundamentals Field Guide (Kendall-Hunt, 2011), and numerous journal articles. She has given over 25 conference presentations, and has received various research awards. She is the former President of the Marketing Management Association, a national academic non-profit with an annual memberships of 300+ active faculty. At Southern Vermont College, she is the President of the Faculty Senate (2014-2016) and serves on the Institutional Review Board in addition to the Rank and Promotion Committees.
In addition to her academic duties, she is involved in the community in other ways. She is currently a board member & Membership Chair for the Hudson Mohawk Figure Skating Club (Troy, NY) and an elected national delegate, troop leader and parent volunteer for the Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York (Albany, NY).
Anthony (Tony) Krulikowski, Ed, MS

Peter Lawrence, Esq.

Peter is an attorney with Barr Sternberg who specializes in Family, Real Estate, Employment, and Appellate law. Peter Lawrence is a tireless advocate for Vermont families, working to help clients receive fair and reasonable outcomes in life’s most unreasonable situations. Lawrence’s 20 years of practice in family law serves as the foundation for one of the most reputable family law attorneys in the state. Committed to his clients, his community, and to improving the justice system, he is a member of nearly every family law judicial committee in the state of Vermont regarding family matters, including the Vermont Family Division Rules Committee, the Vermont Family Division Oversight Committee, and the Vermont Family Division Experimental Project, which he helped to found. Lawrence also chairs the Bennington County Family Division Bench/Bar Committee. Aside from his commitment to improving how the Vermont State Family Division delivers services to litigants, Lawrence began his career as an educator, and gained early career experience assisting young people re-enter their communities through educational alternatives. He continues this work in practice and outside of his practice, most notably as one of the founders of Bennington’s sister city relationship with the town of Somotillo, Nicaragua. Peter graduated from Boston College, and received his Master’s in Education and J.D. from Northeastern University.

Elaina is an AEMT for Bennington Rescue, and is also currently working on her PhD in Clinical Psychology.
