EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Forest Weyen, MBA, NRP

Forest Weyen is the Executive Director of Bennington Rescue Squad. Forest has worked for EMS agencies from small volunteer agencies to large urban services, including spending a year assisting with the development of the EMS Service in Doha, Qatar and working for the Kentucky Board of EMS. Forest has a Bachelor’s in Emergency Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Masters in Business Administration from West Virginia University and has completed a one year post graduate administrative fellowship in healthcare administration.

Glenn Stevens, MPA, NRP, FP-C

Glenn Stevens is the Director of Education of Bennington Rescue Squad.  Glenn has a diverse background in emergency services that includes a 20 year law enforcement career in New York’s Capital District, many years as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic and EMS Chief in Alaska.  Glenn has also worked in the volunteer and paid on-call fire service as a Firefighter 1 and Engineer.  Glenn has been a Paramedic and EMS Educator for nearly 30 years.  Glenn has an Associate’s Degree in Civil and Public Service and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the State University of New York and a Master of Public Administration degree from Marist College.  Glenn currently lives in West Pawlet, Vermont with his wife Jennifer and three of their four children.

Justin Berry, AEMT

Fleet Coordinator

Justin is the Fleet Coordinator for Bennington Rescue Squad.  In the spring of 2004, Justin began his public safety career as a Volunteer Firefighter in Whitingham, VT. Soon after, in the fall of 20014, he began his EMS career as a Volunteer EMS provider for Whiting Ambulance Service. At Whitingham, Justin held a position on the Board of Trustees, and eventually the position of EMS chief.  In July of 2006, Justin joined Bennington Rescue as a provisional member, and was hired to a full time position in 2014. Justin was promoted to Lieutenant in January of 2016 and Captain in December of 2016.
