Subscription Plan 2026
Dear Neighbor,
Emergencies are unpredictable, and when the unexpected occurs, your primary concern should be your health, not the bill. Many people are unaware that the cost of ambulance services can be substantial, even for those with insurance. The Bennington Rescue Subscription Program offers financial protection and peace of mind for a low annual fee. Without this subscription, patients may face coinsurance and other out-of-pocket expenses. We urge you to enroll in the 2026 Bennington Rescue Squad subscription program to ensure peace of mind when it matters most. Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
The Bennington Rescue Crew

Terms and Conditions
Subscription only applies to emergency response calls, and excludes non-emergency medical transports or interfacility (hospital to hospital) transports.
The subscription year is April 1-March 31, repeating annually. Anyone can join anytime and pay the normal annual fee for partial year coverage.
Medicaid subscribers are not eligible for this plan since participants do not have coinsurance or copayment requirements.
Uninsured subscription participants receive a 50% discount on the BRS billed fee for service and any applicable mileage, see our Service Fees page for more details.
For insured patients:
If the call meets medical necessity requirements, the insurance compensation is accepted, and the patient-responsible copayment or coinsurance cost is waived. Deductible amounts are still collected.
If the call does not meet medical necessity requirements or your insurer will not compensate BRS for the response, such as a lift assist or treatment in place, the patient is responsible for 50% of the BLS emergency fee their insurer would compensate for an emergency call with transport, see our Service Fees page for more details about the current BLS emergency fee.
Program benefits terminate for subscribers that do not live or work in the Bennington Rescue primary coverage area. Proof of current household residence (utility bill, driver’s license, etc.) or work status may be requested during the subscription year if ambulance services are used.
This subscription covers responses by the Bennington Rescue Squad. If BRS ambulances are busy and a mutual aid ambulance responds from a neighboring EMS organization, we cannot guarantee they will honor this subscription plan and you may be responsible for copayment, coinsurance, or full fees, if it is not a covered service under your insurance.
